Job Description

We are looking for an English Teacher for a private primary school based in Chengdu’s Shuangliu district. This is a full-time position starting from the upcoming academic year in August 2026.

• Teach the subject of English to primary school students, ensuring an engaging and enriching learning experience
• Preparing lessons and lectures, tutoring techniques, designing and correcting assessments, and writing report comments
• Collaboratively teach alongside fellow educators, actively contributing to the development and enhancement of the school's curriculum
• Assess and monitor students’ progress and provide targets so that all learners can succeed and improve
• Provide clear and constructive feedback to students and their parents and caregivers
• Develop supportive and safe learning environments
• Monday to Friday from 8:30am to 4:30pm with up to 30 teaching periods a week (30 to 40 minutes a period)
• No office hours

Requirements

• Bachelor degree or above
• Teaching certificate
• Two or more years teaching experience in the subject
• Excellent communications skills
