Job Description

We are looking for an English Teacher for a High School based in Shanghai. This position is starting from the upcoming 2026-2027 academic year in August 2026.

About the school

Bilingual school founded back in 2015 and located in Shanghai’s Jiading area. The school has a kindergarten, primary, middle and high school divisions and integrates China’s national curriculum with IB curriculum to meet educational needs and promote international outlook

Job responsibilities

• Teach the subject of English to high school students ensuring an engaging and enriching learning experience
• Preparing lessons and lectures, tutoring techniques, designing and correcting assessments, and writing report comments
• Collaboratively teach alongside fellow educators, actively contributing to the development and enhancement of the school's curriculum
• Assess and monitor students’ progress and provide targets so that all learners can succeed and improve
• Provide clear and constructive feedback to students and their parents and caregivers
• Develop supportive and safe learning environments

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in English subjects;
• Teaching qualification;
• Minimum 3 years' full-time international curriculum teaching experience, experience with IB curriculum and Chinese students preferred;
• Ability to work as a part of a team in planning and implementing the school’s curriculum, strategic plans and policies;

• Monthly salary of up to 29,000 to 32,000 RMB depending on experience and qualifications
