Join the Global LT community and help provide language lessons to business professionals and their families worldwide. We are hiring an English (ESL) Teacher to provide in-person lessons to our client in Dallas

• Student: 1 adult (male) who has recently relocated to the US

• Location: Lessons are to be held at the student's home near South Saint Paul Street and Main Street, Dallas, TX (75201)

• Preferred start date: ASAP

Details

• Availability: Flexible on weekday evenings and during weekends

• Lesson Frequency: Once per week

• Lesson Duration: 60 minutes per session

• Current language level: Intermediate (teacher should assess his level)

• Native language: Gujarati

• Student's language needs and goals: Speaking grammatically correct English and building vocabulary. His primary goal is to work on American accent and pronunciation He prefers structured lessons that remain adaptive, using each session to identify strengths and weaknesses so the focus can shift to what needs improvement.

Responsibilities

• Delivering tailored, dynamic, effective, and engaging lessons

• Developing curricula based on learners’ proficiency level and desired outcomes

• Monitoring students’ progress and guiding learners toward learning goals

• Communicating in an efficient, effective, and professional manner

Qualifications

• Native or near-native written and spoken proficiency in the target language

• Certificate or degree in language teaching, education, instructional design, writing, language, linguistics, second language acquisition, or related field

• Minimum of two years of English (ESL) teaching experience
