Main Purpose of the Role
Welocalize is looking for English into Taiwan Traditional Chinese freelance translator and proofreader with experience in the field of Life Sciences specialized in Oncology for an ongoing translation and proofreading project for multiple leading pharmaceutical providers.
This is an on-going freelance and remote position with an expected weekly words volume of 5k. No minimum volume capacity is required as we are happy to collaborate together depending on your availability.
Project Details
Job Title: English into Taiwan Traditional Chinese Medical Translator

Content types: Investigator-facing, patient-facing and pharmacy for Oncology clinical research/clinical trials documents
CAT Tool: Phase/XTM (Welocalize will provide the credentials without any cost)

Main Duties

• Translate and edit content from English into Taiwan Traditional Chinese with original meaning conveyed in a manner that is readable and understandable to target audience.  
• Content types: Investigator-facing, patient-facing, Oncology documents for clinical research/clinical trials

Required Skills

• Minimum 3  years' experience translating and editing content in the specified subject matter;
• Proficient in all areas of expertise: Investigator-facing, patient-facing, must have - experience in the field of Oncology
• Experience in translating documents for clinical research/clinical trials
• Excellent communications skills in Traditional Chinese and English;
• Degree in linguistics, translation or equivalent experiencer;
• Able to communicate effectively the rationale behind their translation skills;
• Able to both translate and copy edit.
• Proficient in Track Changes function in Word
