KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Support the lead teacher in delivering engaging and effective English lessons.
• Assist in the preparation of teaching materials, classroom resources, and activities.
• Provide individual and small group support to students to reinforce learning.
• Help maintain a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment.
• Monitor student participation and behaviour, supporting classroom management strategies.
• Assist with the assessment process, including tracking student progress and providing feedback.
• Support students with varying levels of English proficiency.
• Supervise students during class, breaks, and school activities as required.
• Collaborate with teachers and staff to support student development and wellbeing.
• Ensure adherence to safeguarding, health, and safety policies at all times.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Languages, or a related field (or currently studying towards one).
• Strong command of English (required); bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
• Previous experience working with children in an educational setting (desirable).
• Basic understanding of teaching and learning principles.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patient, proactive, and supportive approach to working with students.
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting student wellbeing.
• Enthusiastic attitude and willingness to learn and grow professionally.
