We seek a Lead Administrator to join our Kernow English Hub team. The Lead Administrator will provide high quality administrative, organisational and operational support to the English Hub leadership team.
The Kernow English Hub are proud to be one of 34 English Hubs nationwide which are funded by the Department for Education. Our aim is to support schools in enabling children to flourish in early language and reading skills. We are passionate to ensure all children have the opportunity to access the curriculum, engage in school and enjoy all that reading has to offer.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
• Acting as the first point of contact for the Hub, providing a professional and responsive service to internal and external stakeholders
• Managing diaries to ensure effective scheduling of commitments and providing administrative support for meetings
• Undertaking finance administration tasks, ensuring accuracy and timely processing
• Preparing and developing marketing materials
• Supporting the planning and delivery of events for the Kernow English Hub
We are looking for someone that has excellent communication and organisational skills with the ability to manage priorities effectively. The ideal candidate will have high levels of accuracy and attention detail with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. Experience in market and design would be desirable.
This is a fixed term contract until July 2028, for 37 hours per week, term time plus INSET. The role will primarily be based in Newquay.
The English Hub sits within the remit of Kernow Learning which is a multi-academy trust of 21 primary schools in Cornwall.
