ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND TASKS: (Includes but is not limited to the following).
Inspect Ride Systems and Auxiliary Equipment for potential problems.
Maintain and Repair Ride Systems and Auxiliary Equipment
Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical and hydraulic problems on Ride Systems and Auxiliary Equipment.
Complete work orders.
Walk daily routes and make necessary repairs.
Requires being mobile 90% of the shift.
Other job related duties as assigned.
Responsibilities/Qualifications:
Excellent communication skills.
Understand and comply with all corporate, hotel and departmental rules, regulations, policies and procedures.
Skills in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with staff.
Read, write and communicate verbally in English.
Ability to perform basic math.
3 Years theme park maintenance experience and be proficient at Inspecting, Maintaining, Troubleshooting, Repairing, and Installing Amusement Park rides (in accordance with ASTM and Clark County ATS standards).
Familiar with facilities fixtures, furnishings, and equipment.
AIMS level 1 maintenance certification and one or more of the following:
6G Welding certification
Journeyman Millwright card
A&P license, or Hydraulics & Pneumatics training certificate
Journeyman Electrical Card
PLC or DSC training certificate or certification
VFD, VSD, or Electronics certificate or certification
Required to climb rides or structures to 100’
