We are currently hiring to fill a new role of an Engineer, Project Manager or Senior Engineer, Project Manager in our Land Development department, based in our Ottawa office.
This position is responsible for the planning, design and approval of land development projects including storm and sanitary sewers, stormwater management systems and infrastructure, watermains, grading, roads and parking lots, preparation of the associated tender and construction contract documents and provision of construction inspection and contract administration required. Work assignments include: class environmental assessments, servicing studies, feasibility studies; water distribution and sewage collection analysis; conceptual design; preliminary design; completion of final design and drawings including coordination of utilities and other engineering disciplines and sub-consultants.
The Engineer/Senior Engineer, Project Manager is also responsible for providing technical direction, mentoring and training junior staff and assisting the Group Leader and Branch Manager with business development.
Key Position Requirements:
• P.Eng. in the Province of Ontario
• Minimum of 7 years of engineering experience, preferably in a consulting environment
• Excellent design and project management skills
• Bilingual (English/French) would be an asset
• Thorough understanding of relevant legislation, guidelines and standards
• Demonstrated abilities as a team leader, responsible for mentoring and coordinating a team of support staff
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, organizational and time management skills
• Experience with business development is an asset
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Expected Hiring Range for This Position

$90,000 to $140,000

Compensation will reflect the unique skills and experience each candidate brings to the role. The posted range serves as a general guideline, and final offers may vary.
