Engineering Internship (Electrical Engineer Undergraduate Role – 9-12 months fixed term)
We have an exciting opportunity for an Undergraduate Electrical Engineer to join our Electrical Engineering Team.
Location: Western house, Bradford (moving to Leeds Valley Park between September and December of 2026) with Hybrid working when required at site visits across the Yorkshire Water asset base throughout the Yorkshire Region.
Work type: Fixed term – 9-12 months. 37 hours per week, Monday – Friday.

The Electrical Engineering Team forms one of the Teams that form the Engineering Section within Yorkshire Water’s Asset Delivery Business Unit.
The Electrical Engineering Team delivers a myriad of projects and initiatives ranging from the delivery of standards and policy, renewable energy initiatives, to the delivery of large scale High Voltage and Low Voltage Inspection Programs & infrastructure upgrades.
Should you be successful, you will provide support to the team of 10, comprising of Engineers, Technicians, Project Managers forming the Electrical Engineering Team.

If successful for the role, you will be required to undergo pre-employment checks that will include a Basic Disclosure Check, carried out through a Third-Party Company, prior to commencing employment.
