What You Can Expect

Performs various technical job functions necessary in manufacturing transfer projects or established manufacturing cells.

Works with Engineers, CNC Programmers, Supervisors, and other professionals to address technical issues in manufacturing cells.

The primary purpose of this job is to support manufacturing through continuous development and implement projects for Compliance, Supply and Cost purposes.

The position is part of a team within the operations department that supports day-to-day production and contributes to the overall business metrics.

What Makes You Stand Out

• A thorough technical understanding of functional discipline is required which may require advanced training or education as relevant.
• Understanding of lean manufacturing concepts and objectives.
• Ability to work effectively with all levels of employees including production employees, management, and technical professionals.
• Computer literate with advanced familiarity with MS Excel
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Results oriented with the ability to accomplish work in a team environment
• Demonstrated enthusiasm and willingness to learn
• Ability to work unsupervised on assigned tasks
• Ability to work and meet with Controlled Environment Area (CEA) environment requirements and procedures.
• Demonstrated analytical skills, especially in the areas of process improvement, problem solving, and logical thinking

Highly developed organizational skills – able to handle multiple high priority tasks/projects concurrently.

Your Background

• Certificate/ Diploma in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering or a similar technical discipline.
• 3+ years’ experience in medical device manufacturing or equivalent industry.

Tool & Die, Machinist or NIMS certification are preferred but not required
