Job Title: Engineering Team Leader

Location: Avonmouth

Shift: 4on-4off days & nights

So what’s it all about  

This is a new role for an Engineering Team Leader at our Avonmouth bakery. In this position you will play a key role in providing hands-on engineering expertise whilst leading a small team of engineers within our fast-paced, high pressured factory.

For this role, you will be required to conduct both planned and reactive maintenance of the bakery production lines and be the ‘go to’ person on shift for all electrical issues. Because of this, there is a requirement to be qualified electrically, and We are specifically looking for an electrically qualified engineer with strong PLC experience.

Health & safety is vital in all working environments, and the food industry is no different. As the lead engineer, driving high standards and sticking to H&S protocol is a key part of the role.  

The Key Requirements... 

1. Minimum Level 3 or equivalent in electrical engineering   
2. Previous experience leading a small team of engineers (Lead engineer, senior engineer, engineering team leader etc)
3. History of working within a food, FMCG or industrial manufacturing environment
