Engineering Team Leader – Cost Management & Digital Solutions (SG23)

Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Team Leader to drive cost management transformation through the development of digital cost modeling tools, establishment of standardized cost management processes, and leadership of strategic cost reduction initiatives. This role will partner with Engineering, Procurement, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Business teams to improve cost visibility, enable data-driven decision-making, and accelerate adoption of digital solutions across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development, deployment, and continuous improvement of cost modeling and cost analytics tools.
  • Establish and standardize cost management processes, methodologies, governance, and best practices.
  • Manage cross-functional projects focused on cost reduction, value engineering, and process transformation.
  • Drive adoption of digital technologies, automation, AI, and analytics solutions to enhance cost management capabilities.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to identify, prioritize, and execute cost optimization opportunities.
  • Develop dashboards, reporting solutions, and executive summaries to improve cost visibility and business decision-making.
  • Track program performance, opportunity realization, and business impact of cost initiatives.
  • Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and capability development for engineering teams.
  • Support sustainability and carbon footprint initiatives through cost and value optimization strategies.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, Data Analytics, or related discipline.
  • 12+ years of experience in Cost Engineering, Product Cost Management, Manufacturing Engineering, Digital Transformation, or Program Management.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, product cost structures, cost estimation methodologies, and value engineering.
  • Experience with cost management tools such as Teamcenter PCM, aPriori, or similar platforms.
  • Exposure to AI, automation, and digital technologies for business transformation.
  • Strong leadership, project management, stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
