Our core technology, the Large Market Model (LMM), enables accurate demand forecasting and real-time decision-making for complex markets. Initially transforming the airline industry, Fetcherr continues to expand its platform capabilities to power intelligent, data-driven products across industries.

We are looking for an experienced Engineering Team Lead to establish and lead a new team focused on building advanced data interaction and analytics capabilities for our clients. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape a highly impactful platform layer that enables intuitive, flexible, and scalable access to complex business data.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor a team of engineers building core platform capabilities
• Design and develop end-to-end solutions for data access, interpretation, and presentation
• Architect scalable services and APIs that support complex analytical workflows
• Drive research and experimentation to improve system accuracy, performance, and usability
• Collaborate closely with product, data, and engineering teams to align platform capabilities with business needs
• Define and maintain engineering best practices including code quality, testing, and reproducibility
• Take ownership of the team’s technical roadmap, architecture, and long-term strategy
• Communicate technical concepts and design decisions to a wide range of stakeholders

Requirements

You’ll be a great fit if you have…

• 2+ years of experience leading and mentoring agile engineering teams
• Strong engineering background with hands-on development experience in Python
• Experience building and maintaining scalable, production-grade systems
• Proven ability to design robust platform components and abstractions
• A strong product mindset with attention to performance, usability, and reliability
• Execution focus, clear and consistent routines, measurements and KPIs
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative leadership style

Nice to have

• Experience with advanced data systems, analytics platforms, or intelligent decision-support tools
• Experience building LLM applications
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and CI/CD pipelines
• Experience designing developer-facing or client-facing interfaces
• Degree in Computer Science or a related quantitative field
