The Opportunity

HR Surveyors is seeking an experienced Engineering Surveyor to join our growing South Australian team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated surveyor looking to take the next step in their career with a growing national business. For the right candidate, there is also a genuine pathway into a Survey Management position within 12 months.

Reporting to management, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality surveying services across a diverse range of engineering and construction projects throughout South Australia.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and execute daily survey tasks to meet project deadlines
• Perform accurate survey calculations, drafting and reporting using industry-standard software
• Undertake engineering set-out, as-built surveys and other construction surveying requirements
• Liaise directly with clients to ensure project requirements and specifications are met
• Collaborate with project managers, site teams and other surveyors to deliver efficient, high-quality outcomes
• Operate Trimble and/or Leica survey equipment to undertake precise fieldwork
• Maintain a high standard of safety, accuracy and professionalism across all work

About You

You are a proactive and detail-oriented Engineering Surveyor with strong industry experience and a genuine passion for your work.

You will ideally bring:

• A minimum of 2–3 years of engineering or construction surveying experience
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Trimble Business Center and/or 12D
• Hands-on experience with Trimble and/or Leica survey equipment
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• Excellent communication and client liaison skills
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team
• A current Australian driver’s licence
• A relevant qualification in Surveying, or equivalent industry experience
