We are currently seeking a qualified Engineering Support Specialist to support quality assurance, manufacturing excellence, and continuous improvement initiatives within a dynamic aerospace/manufacturing environment. The Engineering Support Specialist will be responsible for ensuring compliance with quality management systems, customers requirements and industry standards.

Responsibilities
Manage material transactions and inventory records within SAP, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company procedures.
Support engineering, manufacturing, and procurement teams by maintaining real-time visibility of material availability and inventory status.
Coordinate receiving, storage, handling, and distribution of materials, components, and equipment.
Process incoming and outgoing shipments, including preparation of shipping documentation, packing slips, and carrier coordination.
Verify incoming materials against purchase orders, specifications, and shipping documentation.
Perform incoming inspections of components, assemblies, and equipment to ensure compliance with quality requirements.
Identify, document, and escalate non-conformances, discrepancies, and damaged materials in accordance with quality procedures.
Maintain accurate inventory levels through cycle counts, inventory audits, and reconciliation of inventory discrepancies.
Track and monitor material movements to support production schedules and project requirements.
Collaborate with procurement and suppliers to resolve material shortages, delivery issues, and receiving discrepancies.
Maintain organized records and documentation related to inventory, inspections, certifications, and shipping activities.
Support engineering teams with material requests, prototype builds, and project-related logistics requirements.
Ensure all material handling activities comply with company quality standards, health and safety requirements, and regulatory guidelines.
Generate inventory, receiving, and shipping reports using SAP and Microsoft Office applications.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on inventory accuracy, material flow efficiency, and process standardization.
Support operational objectives by assisting with stores management, warehouse organization, and material control activities.
Communicate material status, inventory concerns, and operational issues to stakeholders in a timely manner.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations, Engineering Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in inventory control, stores operations, shipping/receiving, manufacturing support, or a related environment.
Experience using SAP for inventory management, material transactions, purchasing support, or warehouse operations.
Experience with shipping, receiving, material handling, and logistics coordination.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
Experience working with quality systems, inspection processes, and controlled documentation.
Knowledge of inventory control principles, material management, and warehouse best practices.
Ability to interpret purchase orders, packing slips, certifications, and technical documentation.
Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy in data entry and inventory management.
Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work across multiple departments.
Experience supporting engineering and manufacturing operations is considered an asset.
Familiarity with aerospace, defence, electronics manufacturing, or other regulated industries is considered an asset.
Knowledge of quality standards, inspections, and material certification requirements is preferred.
Bilingual French and English is considered an asset.
Experience with SAP Material Management (MM) and inventory-related transactions
Experience performing incoming inspections and managing non-conformance reporting.
Knowledge of ISO 9001, AS9100, or similar quality management systems.
Experience supporting production, engineering, or electronics manufacturing environments.
Understanding of inventory auditing, cycle counting, and inventory reconciliation processes.
Experience handling serialized, controlled, or safety-critical components.

Compensation: $60,000- 70,000 $ CAD
