Overview

Responsible for managing and coordinating automation systems, process operations, and packaging line performance to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable manufacturing operations. Lead automation improvements, preventive maintenance, and process and packing machine and control systems; support production teams and coordinate maintenance activities to achieve production, quality, safety, and sustainability targets.

  • Manage and maintain PLC, HMI, SCADA, VFD, and industrial network systems.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve automation-related issues to minimize downtime.
  • Develop and modify automation programs to improve equipment performance.
  • Coordinate with OEM suppliers and contractors for automation upgrades.
  • Ensure backup and cybersecurity compliance of automation systems.
  • Support digitalization and Industry 4.0 initiatives.
  • Monitor process performance and identify opportunities for optimization.
  • Analyze process data and implement continuous improvement projects.
  • Support production teams in achieving quality, yield, and efficiency targets.
  • Coordinate process commissioning and validation activities.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, GMP, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate packaging line operations to maximize OEE and productivity.
  • Monitor line performance, downtime, waste, and quality losses.
  • Lead corrective and preventive actions to improve packing efficiency.
  • Support changeovers and startup activities.
  • Ensure packaging equipment operates safely and reliably.
  • Work closely with maintenance teams to plan preventive and predictive maintenance.
  • Support root cause analysis (RCA) and breakdown investigations.
  • Track equipment reliability and implement reliability improvement programs.
  • Manage spare parts and critical automation components.
  • Promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with EHS standards.
  • Conduct risk assessments and machine safety reviews.
  • Ensure compliance with quality management systems and food safety standards.
  • Participate in audits and implement corrective actions.
  • Lead Lean Manufacturing and TPM initiatives.
  • Drive energy, water, and utility optimization projects.
  • Develop KPIs and performance dashboards.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities through automation and process improvements.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams including Production, Maintenance, Quality, Utilities, and Engineering.
  • Provide technical coaching and training to operators and technicians.
  • Support skill development and competency improvement programs.
  • Facilitate daily performance meetings and action tracking.

Qualifications

  • Master or Bachelor of Engineering – Mechanical, Electrical, or related engineering fields
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in an engineering field in manufacturing
  • Has experiences in Food industry, FMCG is preferable
  • Good computer literacy in Microsoft Office.
  • Proficiency in Thai and English and Microsoft Programs
  • Experiences in SAP execution is preferable
  • Experience in WWTP food factory.
  • Experience in project management.
