Bonjour! At Sofitel, our Engineering team works behind the scenes to ensure every VIP guest journey is seamless and exceptional where precision, discretion and attention to detail come together to create an effortlessly refined experience. As our Engineering Supervisor, you will lead a dedicated team in maintaining the hotel’s rooms, public spaces, and back-of-house operations to the highest standards of safety, presentation, and performance. Your eye for detail and commitment to excellence will ensure our guests experience seamless comfort in every corner of the property.

In this hands-on leadership role, you will oversee both planned preventative maintenance and responsive repairs, ensuring the hotel operates effortlessly behind the scenes. You will work closely with the Chief Engineer to coordinate daily engineering activities, manage contractors, and deliver projects with efficiency and care.

Collaboration is at the heart of what you do. Partnering with key operational departments, you will play an integral role in environmental controls, fire safety, and technical solutions that enhance the overall guest journey. Your ability to lead with warmth, professionalism, and technical expertise will help create a safe, refined, and truly memorable environment for all.

Qualifications

You are a skilled and detail-oriented professional with proven experience in hotel engineering, facilities maintenance, or building services within a hospitality or commercial environment. With a strong technical foundation, you bring expertise across HVAC, refrigeration, electrical, plumbing, lighting, and general building maintenance, ensuring every space operates with precision and care.

A natural leader, you confidently guide and support maintenance teams while seamlessly coordinating contractors to achieve exceptional outcomes. You lead with professionalism and a collaborative spirit, fostering a culture of accountability, efficiency, and excellence.

Above all, you are deeply committed to safety, asset protection, and discretion. You take pride in delivering reliable, high-performing infrastructure that underpins a refined, five-star guest experience ensuring every detail behind the scenes contributes to something truly memorable.
