Position Summary: The engineering supervisor delivers service excellence and facilitates a positive guest experience while maintaining the overall operation of the maintenance department. This position is responsible for hotel maintenance including preventative maintenance and equipment repairs. _____________________________________________________________________________________
Performance Expectations:
- Repair and maintain facility building and equipment.
- Perform and manage the preventative maintenance throughout the property such as mechanical, electrical, painting, carpentry and plumbing.
- Oversee general repairs, installations, operation, and preventative with regards to electrical, mechanical, air-conditioning, fire protection, carpentry, plumbing, masonry, painting, kitchen equipment, sound and AV, sewage, plants, etc.
- Assist management in hiring, training, evaluating, counseling, and motivating and coaching employees.
- Respond to elevator breakdowns.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records.
- Ensure all engineering service requests are responded to and resolved in a timely, courteous and efficient manner. Respond to guest requests and report guest issues.
- Maintain engineering work area in an orderly and clean fashion.
- Order, mark, and stock parts and supplies as needed.
- Assist in energy conservation by observing energy and utilities usage in the hotel.
- Assist in handling emergencies in order to protect our guests and team members and preserve the building and its systems during the emergency.
- Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards; and identify, recommend, develop, and implement new ways to increase organizational efficiency, productivity, quality, safety, and/or cost-savings.
- Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures.
- Follow proper lost and found procedures for items left behind in a guest room.
- Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional.
- Perform other tasks as requested by management.

QualificationsGeneral Requirements:
Able to work weekends
Report to work on time and in proper uniform.
Experience: At least 1 year of maintenance experience preferred.
Education: None
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand/walk for up to 8 hours.
Occasional lifting, pushing and pulling
