Commonwealth Engineers, Inc. is looking for engineering students during the 2027 summer or 2026/2027 academic year. Engineering interns and co-op students typically support one or more experienced engineering teams to gain an understanding of the type of work needed to support large and small engineering infrastructure projects. Opportunities are available at all office locations.
Work typically involves a combination of field and in-office assignments. This is an excellent opportunity for a pending graduate who is interested in pursuing a professional engineering career in the areas of potable water, wastewater, stormwater, dams, levees, site civil work, and sustainable infrastructure.

As a representative of your community or industry, what are your primary concerns? Perhaps it’s the constant worry of your aging infrastructure that is no longer meeting your needs, or maybe it’s the never-ending regulatory requirements that are straining your budgets to the breaking point. In many cases, these challenges may seem insurmountable… but not to us at Commonwealth Engineers. Helping communities and industries find solutions to their toughest environmental problems is what we’ve been doing since 1974. Our core team of engineers, scientists, regulators, and designers are specialized to solve your most pressing matters related to wastewater, potable water, stormwater, sustainable infrastructure, dams, levees, waterways, site civil, and energy-saving systems.
