Duties and Responsibilities

As Engineering Storekeeper, I will assume full responsibility for the efficient operation in the following:

• Ensure that all the issues from the store are well documented as per resort policy.
• Managing inventory, ensuring the availability of tools, materials, and spare parts, and supporting engineers and technicians in their daily operations
• Ensure that all store are always kept in order and clean.
• Check on daily basis the minimum stock levels and prepare the proper purchase request to avoid shortages.
• Ensure that all the items kept in the store are ready and in a good shape to consume.
• Handle all deliveries of goods including loading and unloading carts and placing in appropriate storerooms.
• Responsible for putting away orders in a timely and efficient manner.
• Upkeep Six Senses guidelines and standards of service and operation. My performance benchmarks are maintained and exceeded.
• Strictly adhere to LQA standards and guest comments.

Qualifications

To execute the position of Engineering Storekeeper, I must have the required qualifications, technical skills and experience in a similar role in luxury hotels with proven results and includes the following:

• High school diploma or equivalent in Engineering and Supply and at least 1 year experience in a progressive storekeeping or in a similar setting. Hospitality diploma/degree from a recognized hospitality school is preferred.
• Technical skills include advanced MS Office, Outlook platforms and Materials Control (MC).
• I have an excellent command of written and spoken English, and I am able to live in a remote location for extended periods of time and travel on single status.
