Engineering Storekeeper

  • Based at our Chichester depot located at The Bus Station, Basin Road
  • Pay rate of circa £28k per annum
  • 37.5hrs per week, Monday to Friday
  • 12 month fixed term contract

We're looking for a Storekeeper at our depot in Chichester on a FTC for 12 months to cover maternity leave.

Reporting to the Engineering Manager, the primary duties in this role are ensuring our stores hold essential parts, reordering stock as required, frequent stock checks and liaising with our suppliers.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Receive, store, issue, and record PSV parts and materials
  • Maintain accurate stock records and inventory control systems
  • Monitor stock levels and place orders to prevent shortages
  • Liaise with suppliers and internal maintenance teams
  • Ensure correct storage and safe handling of all items
  • Carry out regular stock checks and audits
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organised stores environment
  • Comply with health & safety and company procedures

What we’re looking for:

  • Previous experience in a stores or stock control role (PSV, automotive, or engineering preferred)
  • Knowledge of vehicle parts (PSV/bus/coach experience advantageous)
  • Good organisational and record‑keeping skills
  • Basic IT skills (stock systems, spreadsheets, email)
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Able to safely lift packages and parts
