Engineering Solutions Representative - HVAC

Calgary

As a result of growth & expansion, our distribution client is looking to add a new HVAC Engineering Solutions Representative to join their team in Calgary!

This is an exciting opportunity for a recent Engineering graduate, interested in utilizing their technical education, and grow with an industry leading HVAC supplier.

This role would have a salary and commission compensation package.

Duties

• Prepare requests for equal, strategy sheets and bill of materials
• Prepare estimates and advise on strategy
• Prepare quote file for hand over to lead Salesperson
• Provide up to date pricing
• Assist in strategic job meetings and job closing
• Prepare Shop Drawings, Coordinate timing with Project Coordinator, negotiate pricing with vendors, where applicable
• Provide technical support on jobsites
• Provide support on vendor visits and customer events
• Provide internal engineering support
• Continued improvement of technical skills and participate in all manufacturers provided training sessions
• Able to attend factory trip with Account Executive and customers

Experience and Qualification

• Mechanical Engineering Education
• Strong multi-tasking and organizational skills.
• Advanced computer skills.
• Able to produce quality work while meeting deadlines.
