As an Engineering Project Team Leader, you will lead the technical delivery of Compact Wheel Loader New Product Introduction programs. This role will involve extensive collaboration with cross-functional teams based in multiple countries and involves overseeing project progress and communicating status with stakeholders in order to bring optimally engineered products to market that will solve key customer challenges while meeting durability and quality expectations.

Job Duties/Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

  • Lead technical development including technical decision making for Compact Wheel Loader NPI programs
  • Coordinate engineering release of multiple systems in coordination with cross-functional teams
  • Track, manage & drive action on timely resolution of engineering issues impacting durability/reliability as well as design for assembly
  • Track and manage material costs through extensive collaboration with cross-functional teams as well as utilization of product cost management tools

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in an accredited Engineering, Computer Science, or Materials Science curriculum
  • Product design & development: Ability to design, build & develop new products, technology, or service from concept through to production.
  • Project Management: Ability to plan, organize, monitor & control projects while demonstrating efficient use of resources and tools


Desired Qualifications:

  • Strong technical communications, customer focus and problem-solving skills demonstrated through past project work
  • Knowledge of small construction equipment product development including supply base Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes & technologies; APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning) methodologies
  • Experience using multiple tools like Product Cost Management (PCM); engineering Product Lifecycle Management (Teamcenter); issues management and tracking etc.
  • Good interpersonal and collaboration skills. Ability to foster effective teamwork and bring people from diverse backgrounds together to solve complex problems

This position requires working onsite five days a week.Relocation is available for this position.Visa Sponsorship is not available for this position.
