The IS&T Edge Services team is seeking an experienced Engineering Project Manager to lead and coordinate projects for Apple’s DNS infrastructure and security in China. In this role, you'll serve as the bridge between engineering teams, product stakeholders, and cross-functional partners. Projects will require direct interaction with a broad variety of technical and functional personnel throughout Apple and outside vendors. Responsibilities include reliability, operations and security projects and communications for this services. Occasional travel is required.

As an Engineering Project Manager, you will lead multiple concurrent projects from conception through deployment. You will drive project timelines, resource allocation, and risk mitigation strategies while ensuring delivery excellence through continuous process improvement and team coaching. Your role involves collaborating closely with Engineering, Network, and Security teams coordinating dependencies across multiple engineering squads and product areas, and communicating project status, risks, and decisions to stakeholders at all levels while fostering an inclusive environment that values diverse perspectives and working styles. You will function as the team lead and assign tasks to support higher level goals. Some projects will also require procurement requests for services and hardware and installation coordination.

Preferred Qualifications

7+ years of technical/engineering project management experience.
Previous leadership experience managing engineering teams.
MBA, PMI/PMP or CAPM certification.
Network Proficiency: CCNA or equivalent certification

Minimum Qualifications

Project Management Experience: Over five years of progressive responsibilities in technical project / program management roles.
Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple concurrent projects effectively.
Collaboration Abilities: Strong capability to partner and collaborate across various teams to implement strategic plans successfully.
Organizational Skills: Demonstrated project management expertise with strong organizational and planning skills.
Methodology Expertise: Proficiency in applying Scrum, Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid methodologies, along with experience using project management tools.
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or Network Engineering.
Fluent English and Mandarin.
