Job Description
DRS RADA, a leading defense high-tech company specializing in radar systems development, is seeking a motivated and skilled Engineering Project Manager to join our Engineering Project Management team.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and coordinate Engineering projects and cross-functional execution activities from planning through completion.
- Build, maintain, and track detailed project work plans, schedules, milestones, dependencies, resources, and deliverables.
- Coordinate activities across Engineering, R&D, Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, and Business Lines.
- Monitor project progress, identify execution gaps, and proactively manage risks, issues, and critical paths.
- Drive project meetings, execution reviews, action follow-up, and timely closure of open items.
- Ensure alignment between Engineering activities, R&D development plans, production priorities, and business milestones.
- Provide accurate and timely project status, dashboards, and management reporting.
- Escalate significant risks, delays, resource constraints, and cross-functional dependencies.
- Work extensively with the company’s project management systems to maintain project control and execution visibility.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or another relevant field.
- 2–5 years of experience in project management, project coordination, or PMO activities within a technological environment.
- Experience in building and managing Gantt-based work plans, with project management tools.
- Strong cross-functional leadership, assertiveness, and a proactive approach.
- Systemic and process-oriented thinking, with strong planning and analytical capabilities.
- Ability to drive execution and influence stakeholders without direct authority.
- Strong communication, coordination, and follow-up skills.
- Ability to perform under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Experience with Jira and ERP systems is an advantage.
- Experience in multidisciplinary systems, manufacturing, NPI, or transition-to-production activities is an advantage.
