The Opportunity

CACI has established and upcoming positions throughout the European theater supporting multiple customers for the Department of Defense. We are looking for experienced, innovative and motivated IT Specialists to support enablement CJTF HOA/AFRICOM’s mission objectives.

CACI has an excellent opportunity for an experienced, self-directed, Engineering Project Manager This position is in support of a Department of Defense (DoD) organization, CJTF-HOA located OCONUS in DJIBOUTI, Africa. This position is required to travel OCONUS.

Responsibilities:

The successful candidate must be able to communicate clearly and succinctly both written and orally, and present products and ideas in a business-like manner. The candidate will be required to work in dynamic fast paced environments that require team interaction and coordination of efforts. The candidate must be experienced in interfacing with both client managers and system users.

Specifically, the Engineering Project Manager will be responsible for provide a variety of IT services including cyber security, identity and access management, risk management, cloud integration and engineering, field support services, service desk, application deployment and optimization, and operations center support services. CACI will support CJTF HOA in both classified and unclassified IT operational environments increasing availability and security for a variety of applications and systems. The will also be responsible for the maintenance of the Configuration and Release Management Process. They will provide Configuration management and Release planning for applications, servers, and desktop/laptop/tablets by adhering to the Release Management Plan. They will work in tandem with testing and deployment teams to ensure Operational Engineering to ensure coordination to achieve the overarching goal of assuring CJTF HOA/DoD satisfaction and achievement of established Service Levels.

Qualifications:

Required

  • Currently hold an adjudicated Secret Clearance and be able to maintain
  • Professional certification that meets or exceeds DoD 8570.01. IAM II
  • CAMP or PMP Certification
  • Must be willing/able to work OCONUS for minimum of one year
  • Provide technical leadership and cross-training to peers in areas of expertise
  • Act as a resource to team members, participates in team and professional meetings
  • Coaches and provides input as to the needs of Infrastructure staff
  • Provide 3rd line technical support as needed
  • BA/BS + 5 years recent specialized or AA/AS +7 years recent specialized or a major cert + 7 years recent specialized or 11 years of recent specialized experience
  • Experience and a strong engineering background in Microsoft Active Directory Design and Domain Name Services (DNS)
  • Experience with Microsoft Exchange administration
  • Experience with System Center Configuration Manager 2012
  • Experience with VmWare ESXi administration
  • Experience with managing and developing Group Policies
  • Experience with HBSS configuration and troubleshooting
  • Experience with SCCM, including application packaging, scheduling, and deployment
  • Effective communications throughout all levels of operational command
  • Experience supporting Command Post of the Future concepts and configurations
  • Ability to document system process and architecture
  • Experience supporting software environments and release deployments and have orchestrated and executed complex releases and updates
  • Waterfall/AGILE and ITIL expertise as well as experience in leveraging the applicable aspects of each discipline into a client's Release processes
  • Acts as a liaison between Release and Deployment teams
  • Tracking release speed and successful deployment metrics over time
  • Identifying and offering improvements and enhancements to the release process and implementing the changes
  • Flexible – The environment is highly dynamic. You will be expected to keep up with the changing environment while ensuring a high level of operational effectiveness

Desired

· CISSP Certification (or equivalent IAT Level III certification)

· ITIL v3 Foundation Certification

· CCNA/CCNP/CCIE

· MCSA/MCSE

There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:
