ENGINEERING PROJECT COORDINATOR

Rahway, New Jersey

POSITION

You will be a member of a cross-functional engineering team in the role of Engineering Project Coordinator. In this role, you will support the Project Team Lead in the initiation, execution and close-out of engineering projects. You will also assist the Operations Director in monitoring overall project health and internal company productivity.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Assist Project Team Lead:

Perform project set-up in professional services automation (PSA) software

Develop project schedules (levels 1, 2, 3, 4, 5)

Develop and maintain procurement plans

Maintain project schedules current with inputs from project team, client and vendors

Generate weekly reports summarizing project performance metrics

Identify and address schedule and commercial risks

Expedite deliveries

Perform project close-out activities, including collating client feedback

Assist Operations Director:

Generate project status reports, including project delivery, budget and timeline forecasts

Track and report internal company productivity metrics, including resource utilization

Lead internal Quality Management System (QMS) compliance and improvements

Develop project proposals and change order requests

Perform project invoicing

Lead internal lessons learned sessions following project close-out

Other administrative tasks as required to support project workflow

QUALIFICATIONS

Proficient in Microsoft Project, Primavera P6 or equivalent project management software

Proficient in report and dashboard generation via above software

Preferably 3 plus years experience in an engineering environment

Degree in engineering an asset

Experience in the (bio)pharmaceutical and GMP compliant industries is an asset

Highly organized, heightened attention to detail and punctual to deadlines
