The expected annual salary range for this role is $97000 - $143000 a year.

Eaton’s Enterprise Engineering Team is seeking an Engineering Process Excellence Lead to help strengthen engineering processes, systems, and data quality across multiple teams and locations.
In this role, you will lead initiatives that improve the accuracy, consistency, and effectiveness of engineering information throughout the product lifecycle. A key focus of the role is establishing standard engineering practices and improving engineering data integrity across CAD models, engineering drawings, Bills of Material (BOMs), product structures, and engineering change processes. Working across Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality, Operations, and IT, you will drive process standardization, capability development, and continuous improvement to support product quality, productivity, and future automation initiatives. Up to 50% travel.
-Develop and improve standard engineering processes for CAD models, drawings, Bills of Material (BOMs), engineering changes, and product releases.
-Establish and promote engineering data quality standards across teams and locations.
-Improve the flow, consistency, and integrity of engineering information throughout the product lifecycle.
-Lead engineering data integrity and process improvement initiatives across multiple teams and locations.
-Establish project priorities, governance, metrics, and implementation plans.
-Identify and resolve recurring process issues through data analysis, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
-Develop and deliver training, coaching, and technical guidance to strengthen engineering fundamentals.
-Create and maintain standard work, process documentation, and best practices.
-Lead the adoption of new engineering processes, standards, and ways of working.
-Partner with Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality, Operations, and IT to drive process improvements.
-Support engineering change implementation and continuous improvement activities.
-Help enable automation and Configure-to-Order initiatives through improved engineering data and process standardization.
-Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited institution.
-Minimum three (3) years of engineering experience.
-Minimum 1 year experience with creation of CAD solid models and technical drawings related to electromechanical products, and leading or supporting a cross-functional engineering project, process improvement initiative, or engineering systems implementation.
-Master's degree in Engineering, Engineering Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
-Experience supporting electromechanical products and assemblies.
-Experience working with engineering product definition data, including CAD models, engineering drawings, Bills of Material (BOMs), product structures, or engineering change processes.
-Experience using CAD, PDM, PLM, or ERP systems such as SolidWorks, Creo, AutoCAD, ENOVIA, or SAP.
-Experience delivering technical training or deploying engineering processes across multiple teams or locations.
-Experience supporting Lean, Six Sigma, engineering automation, Configure-to-Order (CTO), or Engineer-to-Order (ETO) environments.
