Job Description

From August 1 2025, Bosch Home Comfort Group acquired 100% of the Johnson Controls-Hitachi Air Conditioning joint venture, including the 60% stake owned by Johnson Controls International plc and the 40% stake owned by Hitachi Global Life Solutions, Inc.

With this transaction, Bosch Home Comfort Group is a trademark licensee of Hitachi, Ltd.

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive PMO to support the Head of Engineering in driving operational excellence and strategic initiatives across the engineering organization.

The role will focus on strategic project coordination, business operations, reporting, stakeholder communication, and execution tracking of key engineering priorities. This position offers broad exposure to engineering leadership and cross-functional initiatives, making it an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in technology operations, program management, and organizational effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities

Project & Program Coordination

  • Support planning, tracking, and execution of key engineering topics, projects and initiatives.

  • Monitor milestones, deliverables, dependencies, and risks.
  • Coordinate activities across Engineering, Product, Design, Finance, HR, and other business functions.
  • Follow up on action items and ensure timely completion of agreed deliverables.

Engineering Operations

  • Assist in managing the engineering organization's operating cadence, including leadership meetings, quarterly planning, business reviews, and OKR tracking.
  • Prepare reports, dashboards, and status updates for leadership review.
  • Maintain project documentation, governance materials, and organizational records.
  • Support budget tracking, headcount reporting, and resource planning activities.

Data & Reporting

  • Collect, analyze, and summarize engineering performance metrics.
  • Develop regular reporting packages to support decision-making.
  • Identify trends, risks, and areas for operational improvement.
  • Support data-driven reviews of organizational effectiveness and project progress.

Stakeholder Communication

  • Coordinate communications among engineering leadership and key stakeholders.
  • Schedule and facilitate meetings, workshops, and review sessions.
  • Prepare executive presentations and meeting materials.
  • Document key decisions, action plans, and follow-up activities.

Continuous Improvement

  • Help identify opportunities to improve processes, workflows, and collaboration across teams.
  • Support implementation of new tools, templates, and best practices.
  • Participate in organizational and transformation initiatives as assigned.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in PMO, Project Coordination, Business Operations, Consulting, or similar roles.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or similar reporting tools.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • High attention to detail and strong follow-through.

Preferred

  • Experience supporting technology, or product development organizations.
  • Familiarity with Agile and project management methodologies.
  • Experience creating executive presentations and management reports.
  • Experience working in global and matrix organizations.
  • Japanese and/or Chinese speaking is a plus.

Additional Information

Location: flexible. We are open to either Tochigi in Japan, Kadi in India, or Wuxi/Shanghai in China.
