We are looking for an experienced Engineering MDM Manager to lead our global Engineering Master Data function as part of the ongoing Transformation Programme.

This role will take ownership of engineering master data governance, quality, and delivery across our manufacturing sites, ensuring accurate and compliant data for:

  • Material Master
  • Bills of Materials (BOMs) & Routings
  • Equipment Master Data

You will lead a team of 8 MDM specialists globally, driving operational excellence, supporting transformation initiatives, and partnering closely with Engineering, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, IT and other key functions.

This role will include international travel to our manufacturing sites.

Key Focus Areas:

  • Lead and develop the global Engineering MDM team
  • Ensure data accuracy, governance, and standardisation
  • Support SAP/PLM (Teamcenter) integration and transformation activities
  • Act as the point of contact for Engineering Change Management (ECO/ECN)
  • Drive process improvements, automation, and data quality initiatives

About you:

  • Proven experience in Engineering Master Data / MDM
  • Strong knowledge of SAP ECC, PLM systems (e.g. Teamcenter), and Engineering Change Control
  • Background in engineering or manufacturing environments
  • Experience managing cross-functional stakeholders and teams

Qualifications

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Proven Experience:
    • Experience managing master data in a large, global complex organisations (Manufacturing / Engineering)
    • Proven team leadership skills.
    • Material Master Data.
    • Bill of Materials and Routings.
    • Equipment Master Data.
    • Product Lifecycle Management (Teamcenter).
    • Engineering Change Management.
    • Manufacturing practices.
    • SAP is essential
  • Competencies:
    • Strong leadership and people management skills.
    • Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
    • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
    • Global mindset with experience in cross-cultural environments.
