Job Description

Summary

Apple Intelligence is changing how customers around the world use their devices, and the new Siri is central to that. For every customer, Siri starts with setting it up, finding out what it can do, and choosing how it works for them. As the Engineering Manager for Siri Settings, Setup, and Compliance, you will lead the team that builds Siri Settings and Setup across Apple platforms. You will also lead compliance and instrumentation across Siri Experiences. We're looking for a hands-on technical leader who turns complex requirements into simple experiences customers trust.

Description

This is a hands-on technical management role. You will go deep on architecture and code with your team and set its direction. You will represent the team in executive design, privacy, and product reviews, and own high-visibility escalations. As the Siri Experiences lead for compliance and instrumentation, you will work with Privacy, Legal, and Data to define requirements and drive delivery across Siri while keeping your roadmap moving. As Siri grows, this team's scope will grow too.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience building onboarding, setup, or settings experiences at scale, including system-level integration on iOS and macOS

Experience with privacy, consent, or regulatory compliance (e.g., GDPR, EU AI Act, Digital Markets Act)

Experience with telemetry, privacy-preserving analytics, or A/B testing

Experience with regional feature availability, localization, and accessibility across many markets

Experience building AI-powered, conversational, or voice experiences

Minimum Qualifications

B.S./M.S. in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience

3+ years managing engineering teams, including owning a high-visibility area with executive exposure

Deep expertise in Swift and SwiftUI on iOS or macOS

Hands-on experience with agentic coding tools, including leading their adoption across a team

Track record of leading multi-team work against fixed deadlines, including turning regulatory, privacy, or data requirements into clear technical plans

Strong product sense, with a track record of shipping customer experiences that balance trust with product goals

Excellent communication skills, including with Legal, Privacy, and executive audiences
