Boeing Ukraine is currently looking for an Engineering Manager to join our Production Engineering Team in Kyiv, Ukraine.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop project plans, directs all project phases, and acting as primary customer contact for project activities.
  • Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.
  • Implement policies and procedures and sets operational goals.
  • Acquire resources for projects and processes coordinates the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as a liaison between project and team, finance, sourcing, and scheduling.
  • Develop and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners, and direct reports.
  • Manage via project deliverables, all technical and functional staff assigned to the project.
  • Identify and manage actively opportunities, risks, and issues to ensure effective resolution or mitigation, and coordinate required activities to ensure successful delivery.
  • Identify and manage project dependencies and the associated critical path(s).
  • Track and report project status relative to the approved business case and scope, with transparency and insight into the overall health of the project.
  • Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and Presentations.
  • Determine the frequency and content of status reports from the project team, analyze results and investigate problem areas.
  • Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans.
  • Define project success criteria and disseminate them to involved parties throughout the project life cycle.
  • Effectively run Project meetings from project kick-off to Post-implementation Review ensuring all stakeholders meet their responsibilities.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Candidates must have at least one year of experience in a leadership role (team leader, temp manager, large scale cross functional project/program management, or formal manager experience) OR have completed the Boeing internal course “Exploring Leadership.
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement.
  • Upper-intermediate English.
  • Existing rights to work in Ukraine.
  • Extensive Project Management experience.
  • Highly competent in using MS Office products in general.

​Preferred Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in aerospace, fabrication, or manufacturing environment.
  • 2+ years of experience leading teams in a formal and /or informal leadership role.
