Industrial Engineering Manager Central is managing different divisional engineers. The engineers work in industrial sectors such as automotive, power, paper, steel, textiles and food & beverage with a wide range of tasks in project management. Project management includes project initiation at the customer, costing, project realization, coordination of installation with commissioning and customer handover.
How you'll make an impact:
The country management position is crucial for driving Engineering business and supporting sales in growing business with Ecolab customers.
Another focus of the position is the management and coordination of an industrial service team in combination with external subcontractors, which mainly carries out planned maintenance, service activities and troubleshooting in the Textile Care and Food & Beverage industries.
The leadership of technicians with different characters and the management of the interface between engineering and the chemical sales departments characterize the daily routine and are a very important task of this position.
A technical understanding and a high degree of people management are the most important skills, in addition to a high level of communication skills, which are important for the successful execution of Industrial Engineering group management.
Experience in leading technical teams in project execution, the management of investment projects is a basic requirement for the role.
The position can be carried out from home, willingness to travel 20-30% and regular visits to the office in Milan characterize this management function.
