This role sits at the core of enterprise digital transformation, leading the development and evolution of high-traffic eCommerce platforms, web applications, APIs, and emerging AI-enabled experiences. The position is responsible for ensuring scalable, secure, and high-performing digital ecosystems that directly shape customer engagement and business growth. You will lead cross-functional engineering teams while driving architecture decisions across modern web and cloud-native systems. The role combines hands-on technical leadership with strategic planning, influencing how digital products are built and optimized end-to-end. Operating in a fast-paced environment, you will collaborate closely with marketing, UX, analytics, and business stakeholders. This is a high-impact leadership position where technology, innovation, and customer experience intersect.

Accountabilities:

Lead and evolve enterprise digital platforms by overseeing architecture, development, and operational excellence across web, eCommerce, and API-driven systems, including:

  • Driving the end-to-end development, optimization, and reliability of enterprise websites and eCommerce platforms
  • Defining and executing the digital technology roadmap aligned with business and customer experience objectives
  • Leading API architecture, integrations, and service-layer connectivity across internal and third-party systems
  • Ensuring platform scalability, performance, security, and availability in high-traffic environments
  • Managing agile delivery cycles, release planning, and quality assurance processes across teams
  • Guiding adoption of cloud-native, composable, and modern web architecture practices
  • Overseeing AI/LLM integrations to enable personalization, search, and intelligent digital experiences
  • Leading and mentoring engineering teams while coordinating with external vendors and stakeholders
  • Requirements

    The ideal candidate brings strong technical depth in enterprise web engineering combined with proven leadership experience in managing high-performing teams and delivering large-scale digital platforms:

    • 7+ years of experience in web development and digital technology leadership roles
    • 5+ years of experience managing and mentoring engineering teams
    • Strong expertise in HTML, JavaScript, CSS, .NET / VB.NET, SQL Server, and Windows Server environments
    • Proven experience building and scaling enterprise-grade websites and eCommerce systems
    • Strong knowledge of APIs, system integrations, and modern distributed web architectures
    • Hands-on exposure to cloud-native platforms and agile development methodologies
    • Experience integrating AI/LLM-based capabilities into digital products
    • Solid understanding of eCommerce performance drivers, UX/UI principles, and conversion optimization
    • Familiarity with SEO, analytics tools, A/B testing, and digital performance metrics
    • Strong stakeholder management, communication, and cross-functional leadership skills
    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field
