Engineering Manager

Suzhou, China (Hybrid: 2-3 days per week in the office)

Lead a High-Performing Engineering Team

Are you an experienced Test Engineering leader looking to make a meaningful impact in a global technology-driven organization? We are seeking an Engineering Manager to lead and develop a talented team responsible for testing, troubleshooting, and validating innovative products and systems.

This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong manager who enjoys developing people, driving continuous improvement, and ensuring high-quality engineering standards while partnering with cross-functional teams across the business.

What You'll Do

As Engineering Manager, you will:

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of Test Engineering professionals.
• Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
• Oversee test strategy, validation activities, and troubleshooting processes for new and existing products.
• Ensure effective planning and utilization of engineering resources, schedules, equipment, and testing capacity.
• Drive operational excellence while maintaining high quality and compliance standards.
• Support short-term planning, budgeting, and departmental priorities.
• Interpret and apply company policies and engineering standards to achieve business goals.
• Partner with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and Product Development teams to deliver successful outcomes.
• Identify opportunities to improve testing efficiency, processes, and overall team performance.

What We're Looking For

Essential Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• 5-8+ years of engineering experience, including experience leading and managing technical professionals.
• Strong background in test engineering, product validation, systems testing, or related engineering functions.
• Proven ability to lead independent professionals and build high-performing teams.
• Experience with resource planning, workload prioritization, and project execution.
• Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Ability to balance strategic leadership with day-to-day operational management.

Preferred

• Experience working in a multinational or highly regulated manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of automated testing, test systems, diagnostics, or product development processes.
• Experience supporting budgeting, planning, and continuous improvement initiatives.
