The Consumer Billing Delivery Lead plays a critical role in leading the successful delivery of complex billing solutions through a strong, FTE co-located team model. Working side-by-side with a dedicated team based in Belfast, this role is accountable for creating clear priorities, building shared ownership, and enabling close day-to-day collaboration that accelerates decision-making, strengthens delivery focus, and improves accountability. The role leads delivery from concept through to production, ensuring solutions are delivered on time, to the required quality, and in line with business priorities. By combining hands-on delivery leadership with effective team coordination, cross-business stakeholder engagement, and strong financial management, the role helps ensure billing capabilities are delivered reliably, efficiently, and with a clear focus on customer and business outcomes
End-to-End Delivery Leadership
· Lead the delivery of complex consumer billing solutions from concept through to production, ensuring delivery is on time, within scope, and aligned to business outcomes.
· Own integrated delivery plans, milestones, dependencies, and critical path activities across technology, business, and operational teams.
Stakeholder & Cross-Business Collaboration
· Collaborate across product, engineering, operations, finance, service, and wider business stakeholders to align priorities, scope, and delivery approach.
· Provide clear governance, status reporting, and decision support, escalating risks and issues at the right time to maintain delivery momentum.
Financial & Commercial Management
· Manage delivery finances including budgets, forecasts, cost tracking, and spend control, ensuring delivery remains commercially efficient and value-focused.
· Support business case delivery by tracking benefits, financial assumptions, and trade-offs across scope, timeline, and cost.
Risk, Dependency & Governance Management
· Identify, manage, and mitigate delivery risks, assumptions, issues, and interdependencies across multiple workstreams and suppliers where relevant.
· Ensure delivery governance is maintained through robust planning, change control, and adherence to agreed delivery standards.
Defect, Incident & Service Readiness Management
· Lead the management of defects and incidents, ensuring prioritisation, root cause analysis, resolution planning, and appropriate stakeholder communication.
· Drive operational readiness for production releases, including entry/exit criteria, support models, release controls, and handover into service.
Agile Delivery & Continuous Improvement
· Promote effective delivery ways of working across teams, using Agile or hybrid methods to improve predictability, transparency, and responsiveness.
· Use delivery metrics, lessons learned, and retrospective insights to continuously improve execution, quality, and customer outcomes.
