Monitor delivery metrics, ensure transparency of progress and risk, and drive continuous improvement in how squads operate
Proven experience in a technical leadership role with direct people management responsibility, including performance and development conversations
Familiarity with, or demonstrated ability to develop fluency in, enterprise platforms such as SAP, prior SAP experience is advantageous but not essential for the right candidate. Experience transitioning enterprise platforms to cloud platforms, particularly to AWS, is particularly valuable
Demonstrated ability to operate across a complex or multi-squad delivery environment, managing competing priorities and cross-team dependencies
Experience developing engineers and/or team leads through structured feedback, coaching, and career conversations
Ability to manage and influence a broad stakeholder set beyond the immediate squad, with clear and proactive communication of delivery risk
Solid grounding in modern engineering practices: CI/CD, testing frameworks, software design patterns, and DevOps tooling
Comfortable operating with a high degree of autonomy in ambiguous or undefined problem spaces
Strong communication skills - able to translate between technical and non-technical audiences at pace

Mable is a health-tech platform where people looking for disability and aged care support connect with independent support workers in their community.
As one of Australia’s fastest-growing scale-ups, we think big to spearhead change in our sector. We're passionate about inclusivity and giving choice and control back to those who need it.
Mable launched in 2014 when co-founder Peter Scutt teamed up with friend and colleague Tony Charara after struggling to find the right home care solution for his parents.
Today, Australia’s largest and most diverse community of independent support workers has provided over 13 million hours of support on Mable so everyone can live their kind of independence.
