Your Impact

We’re looking for an Engineering Manager at our Wulkuraka site to lead the maintenance and engineering function, supporting site performance, team capability, and cross-functional collaboration.

This role will provide leadership across maintenance planning, execution, trades, stores, and utilities, while working closely with operational and site functions to support alignment and delivery against broader site objectives.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys leading through people and influencing long-term direction within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the site engineering and maintenance function across planning, execution, trades, stores, and utilities
• Build strong collaboration across site functions and support alignment with broader operational objectives
• Develop leadership capability within the team and foster a high-performing culture
• Provide strategic direction for the function, with a focus on long-term performance, reliability, and operational effectiveness
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across maintenance and site operations
• Oversee utilities operations across site and support ongoing performance improvement
• Manage maintenance budgets and support overall financial performance of the function
• Provide operational oversight of technical and CAPEX projects, ensuring priorities, timelines, and site impacts are effectively managed

About You

You are an experienced engineering or maintenance leader with a strong background in manufacturing environments. You bring a balanced approach to leadership, combining operational understanding with strategic thinking and the ability to build strong working relationships across site.

You’ll also bring:

• Experience leading maintenance or engineering teams within manufacturing
• Proven ability to develop leaders and build team capability
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• A collaborative and solutions-focused approach
• Commercial awareness, including budget or P&L exposure
• Exposure to continuous improvement initiatives within operations
• An engineering degree and/or process engineering understanding are desirable
