Edenred UAE is a fast growing payroll service provider serving more than 6,000 business and more than 2 million unbanked employees. We service over 10 banks and 35 financial institutions. We offer a unique value proposition for companies to manage their payroll and for employees to receive their salaries and use it in the simplest way offering multiple value added services via our mobile app (money transfer, mobile recharge and card services)

Position Key Responsibilities

As an Engineering Manager, you will lead a team of talented engineers to design, develop, and deliver cutting-edge software solutions. Our team is passionate about our customers and committed to delivering high-quality products that make a difference. You will be responsible for driving technical excellence, fostering a collaborative team environment, and ensuring the successful execution of projects.

• Leadership & Management: Lead, mentor, and grow a team of engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
• Product Management: Understand your customers and oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of changes to the product spaces you own, ensuring they are completed on time and within scope.
• Technical Expertise: Provide technical guidance and support to the team, ensuring best practices in software development and operational excellence.
• Collaboration: Work closely with different teams and functions, including product management, design, and operations, to align on goals and deliverables.
• Performance Management: Conduct regular performance reviews, provide constructive feedback, and support the professional development of team members.
• Recruitment: Participate in the hiring process to attract and retain top engineering talent.

Qualifications

• Experience: 6+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
• Education:
  Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field or equivalent work experience.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in one or more programming languages (e.g., C# and .NET and experience with cloud technologies (e.g., Azure or Google Cloud).
• Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and inspire a team, with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a track record of delivering complex projects.
• Agile Methodologies: Experience with Agile development methodologies and tools.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a high-growth tech company or startup environment.
