Key Responsibilities
Lead, mentor, and develop cross-functional engineering squadsdelivering complete,endtoendvalue streams.You’llbe supported by leaders who believe engineers should own solutions, with managers setting direction
Provide technical leadership and oversight across multiple teams, ensuring software quality, architectural alignment, and adherence to platform standards.
Partner closely with Product,Designand other Engineering leaders to align execution with the product roadmap and broader technical strategy.
Own and delivercritical product experiences which enableour customers to streamline and grow their veterinary practices businesses.
As we scale through growth, ensure solutions meet the reliability, performance, and scalability expectations ofourenterprise veterinary customers.Evolving a successful monolithic system toward domain-oriented architecture and reducing operational toil through AI and automation.
Leadpractical, responsible adoption of AI capabilities within theproductto drive measurable efficiency gains.
Set and uphold a high bar for engineering practices, includingrapid innovation through short feedback cycles, automated testing, and maintainable codebases

WhatYou’llBring
Proven experience as an Engineering Managerwithin a modern software environment
Strong ability to lead, influence, and align technical teams through both leadership presence and technical credibility
Demonstrated experience evolving engineering culture and processes toward higher engagement, agility, automated testing, andDevSecOpsmaturity
Deep understanding of cloud-native architectures, distributed systems, and modern software design principles
Working knowledge of modern web and backend technologies (e.g.React, Go, TypeScript, .NET, Ruby, Java), sufficient to guide architectural and delivery decisions
Experienceoperatingin Agile environments (Scrum, Kanban, or hybrid models)
Prior experience in a scaled SaaS environmentis highly desirable
