The Role

Are you an experienced engineering leader ready to broaden your impact? We are seeking a people‑focused Engineering Manager who can bridge the gap between strong leadership and technical execution. You’ll be joining a highly capable team of engineers working across geothermal and hydropower, and we’re ready to grow even further.

While we have a strong mechanical engineering base, we welcome applicants from process, electrical, control systems, or civil engineering. A new discipline in the mix can only elevate our technical strength and the value we bring to our clients. Dynamic mechanical engineers are, of course, also encouraged to apply!

What you’ll be doing

You’ll play a key role in shaping the capability and culture of our engineering team, supporting people, guiding technical outcomes, and helping deliver high‑quality solutions for our clients. Your work will span leadership, technical oversight, and client engagement, giving you the chance to influence projects from concept through to delivery. In this role you will:

About You

You’re an experienced engineering professional who enjoys leading people as much as delivering strong technical outcomes. With a background in heavy industry or power generation, you bring practical engineering knowledge, sound judgement, and the ability to guide teams through complex challenges. Whether you come from a mechanical, process, electrical, civil, or control systems background, you’re confident working across disciplines and helping others do their best work.

You enjoy stepping into a role where coaching, collaboration, and problem‑solving are part of everyday life. You’re comfortable engaging with clients, navigating technical discussions, and shaping solutions that add real value. Most importantly, you’re motivated by seeing people grow and creating an environment where engineers can develop and thrive.

You’ll also bring:

• Experience leading engineering teams in a complex operational or project environment

• Strong technical capability and confidence in guiding design and decision‑making

• The ability to build trust and communicate well across teams and clients
