Job Description

Primary Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test and document state-of-the-art cloud solutions leveraging services available in AWS, Azure and GCP, as well as required third-party capabilities, for our Voice AI and Fraud Detection products.
  • Build and lead teams of engineers – hiring, structuring and growing the multi-disciplinary pods that deliver our Voice AI and Fraud Detection solutions on EXLerate.ai.
  • Ensure all development follows EXL Digital's engineering best practices, including security, quality, CI/CD and observability.
  • Contribute to the digital AI solution strategy for the target industry segments, with a focus on Voice AI and Fraud Detection use cases.
  • Support presales and delivery efforts of our AI solutions, with a focus on IT engineering and security efforts.
  • Foster deep relationships with technical stakeholders at our top clients by demonstrating insight and thought leadership on the application of digital and agentic AI in their context to help them meet their business goals.
  • Work with teams across the business to generate innovative AI solution opportunities, and drive innovation across digital engineering around agentic AI, Voice AI and fraud analytics.

Skills and Capabilities

  • Deep expertise with full-stack application and solution development and engineering best practices.
  • Experience architecting, building and deploying AI solutions, including agentic AI – LLMs, agent frameworks, orchestration, RAG and observability.
  • Experience architecting AI solutions that use well-managed core APIs and SDKs to access LLMs and foundational models.
  • Hands-on exposure to Voice AI (speech-to-text/text-to-speech, conversational/voice agents) and/or fraud detection and analytics solutions.
  • Solutioning and engineering skills in one of the primary cloud hyper-scalers, with a preference for AWS or Azure.
  • Cloud engineering skills including security and disaster recovery, storage, networking, virtualization, containerization, orchestration, web services, APIs and DevOps.
  • Understanding of the primary services leveraged in building and deploying, at scale, cloud-native applications and platforms.
  • Ability to work with clients in a consultative way and to define AI solutions with product management.
  • Ability to think innovatively and to design and deliver client-oriented digital AI solutions.
  • Ability to lead conversations on digital AI solutions with senior technical leaders at our clients, and to be the trusted advisor to clients on the technical details of our AI solutions.
  • Skilled in collaborating cross-functionally with geo-distributed stakeholders, and comfortable presenting to stakeholders both internally and externally.

Experience

  • 12+ years of proven track record in architecting and engineering AI solutions.
  • At least 8 years of experience programming with Python, React, Java or other programming languages.
  • Solution architecture experience (features, functionalities, upstream & downstream impact on the AI workflow).
  • Technical architecture experience (data flow, technologies, how they interact and integrate, technology selection, scalability, security).
  • Strong expertise in AWS or Azure.
  • Should have led 15+ person teams of multi-disciplinary skills, including solution architects, data scientists, technical architects and developers.
  • Demonstrated experience working with both senior business and technology stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with building large-scale AI products or platforms for NLP, speech, computer vision or recommendation systems serving millions of users.
