Manage the engineering team responsible for supporting and delivering the checkout experience in Autodoc. You will be responsible for both the technical execution of the team as well as the growth of the individual team members.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the frontend engineering team to deliver new business solutions (and support existing ones) on React application
• Design and implementation of web application and modules - React, Node.js
• Design, develop, and unit test applications in accordance with established standards
• Adhere to high-quality development principles while delivering solutions on-time and on-budget
• Service monitoring, alerting, and incident mitigation - New Relic, Grafana
• Lead and enforce high-quality code review practices to ensure maintainable, scalable, and reliable front-end code
• Coach and support the team in Agile Software development best practices

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in a lead position/role
• 5 years+ of work experience as a Front-End Software Engineer
• Experience in software development, supporting the design and development of large-scale, distributed software applications
• Strong understanding of component architecture, state management, and performance optimization
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to apply logical and analytical thinking to complex problems
• Maintain high standards of software quality within the team by establishing good practices and habits
• Identify and encourage areas for growth and improvement within the team
• Ability to translate product requirements into scalable technical solutions
• Strong collaboration skills with Product, Design, Backend, and DevOps teams
• Expert-level proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, HTML5, and modern CSS
• Solid understanding of API integration (REST) and client-server communication
• Experience in creating Unit tests & e2e tests
• Be familiar with linters, semantic code/webpack
• Experience in using Agile, SCRUM and Waterfall methodology to deliver the projects (JIRA)
• Understanding the software life cycle, teamwork
• Experience with Git and the ability to use it properly
• English intermediate (B1)
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work autonomously in a team environment
