Position: Engineering Lab Technician Co-op/Intern
Number of Position(s): 1
Duration 4 months +
Date: Sept – Dec 2026
Location Onsite, Ottawa

EDUCATIONAL RECOMMENDATIONS

Currently a candidate for a Master’s, Bachelor's degree, or Diploma in Computer Technician program, or a related field with an accredited school in Canada.

As part of our team, you will:

  • Work with new products and technologies.
  • Troubleshoot and debug node configurations.
  • The software installs, system configurations restore and backing up databases.
  • Troubleshoot and upgrade cards.
  • Installation and configuration of new equipment into existing networks.

You have:

  • Enrollment in a Computer networking-related program
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills are required, along with the ability to work effectively with others.
  • The candidate must be able to work successfully in a team-oriented environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and to work in a fast-paced, innovative environment.

Nice to have:

  • Knowledge of IP networking, familiar with networking concepts.
  • Familiar or proficient with UNIX and LINUX.
  • Scripting languages (i.e., PERL).
