
Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories (SEL) seeks an enthusiastic student for an Engineering Intern positions in our Centurion office. The ideal candidate must be a based in South Africa for this position. Applicants who recently graduated or pursuing final year in electrical, power systems or power engineering field is preferred only!
As an Engineering Intern, a typical day might include the following:
Provide technical support to SEL staff & customers.
Develop and maintain knowledge in SEL processes and technologies.
Perform testing on new and existing technology.
Document and communicate test results.
This job might be for you if:
You are a fresh graduate or current final year student pursuing a BS or MS in Electrical/Power Engineering.
You have the ability to work full time.
You have an interest in electrical power systems, protection and control.
Working knowledge of emulators and logic analyzers
You have practical knowledge of 3-phase power systems
Ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities
Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment

Pay Range Data
Our intern pay is determined based on the internship role and on hourly basis.
