Summer Engineering Intern – Manufacturing (Automatic Pool Covers)
Looking to gain hands-on engineering experience this summer? Join our team and work directly with engineers and production staff in a manufacturing environment focused on automatic pool cover systems.
This summer internship provides real-world exposure to product development, testing, and process improvement—giving you the opportunity to apply what you’ve learned in the classroom to real products used every day.
What You’ll Learn & Do
- Build and test prototypes used in production
- Assist with product testing and learn how to document and analyze results
- Help design and create fixtures and tools that improve manufacturing efficiency
- Work on the production floor to troubleshoot issues and support process improvements
- Gain exposure to quality control and lean manufacturing practices
- Collaborate with engineers and manufacturing teams on active projects
What We’re Looking For
- Currently pursuing a degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or related Engineering field
- Interest in hands-on, shop-floor engineering work
- Basic understanding of mechanical systems and tools
- Ability to read technical drawings (or willingness to learn)
- Strong problem-solving mindset and willingness to learn
- Team-oriented with good communication skills
- CAD experience (e.g., SolidWorks) is a plus
Internship Details
- Summer position (typical duration: May–August, flexible based on school schedule)
- Full-time hours preferred during the internship period
