R&D Engineering Intern (Summer Internship)

We are seeking a highly motivated and creative Engineering Intern to join our R&D team this summer. This role is ideal for a student who enjoys solving complex problems, thinking outside the box, and turning innovative ideas into tangible design concepts.

As an R&D Intern, you will work on exploratory projects that require creativity, independent thinking, and a strong engineering foundation. These projects are currently outside the bandwidth of our core engineering team, providing you with the opportunity to take ownership and make a meaningful impact.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and explore new design concepts for early-stage R&D initiatives
• Conduct research, analysis, and feasibility assessments
• Generate innovative solutions to open-ended engineering challenges
• Create conceptual designs, models, and/or prototypes as appropriate
• Present findings and final design concepts at the conclusion of the internship

What We’re Looking For:

• Currently pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field
• Strong problem-solving skills and creativity
• Ability to work independently on loosely defined challenges
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Curiosity, initiative, and a passion for innovation

By the end of the internship, the successful candidate is expected to deliver several well-developed design concepts that can be further evaluated for future development.
