About the Role

Service Stream are excited to open applications for an Engineering Graduate to join our Transport division, and form part of our cohort for the 2027 Ignite Graduate Program.

You will be joining our team dedicated to supporting our Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) contracts, including the Victoria West ITS Maintenance Contract where our teams will maintain more than 4,500 ITS assets across 27 Local Government Areas, covering around a third of metropolitan Melbourne and extending west to the South Australian border. We are ideally looking for either a first or second year Electrical Engineering Graduate.

About the program

Our 2-year program is designed to support your personal and professional growth through a balanced mix of on-the-job experience, learning from others, and structured formal development. Our program features:

O-Week kicks off in February 2027 from our head office in Melbourne, however as we have new contracts starting soon, this role is available to join us this year. We will provide remuneration increases every 6 months from February for the duration of this program, and when you finish you will have a permanent role with us!

To be eligible for the program, you must:

• Have completed, or about to complete, a minimum 3-year engineering undergraduate degree within the last 5 years from a recognised university.
• Be available to work full-time for the 2-year duration of the program from February 2027.
• At time of application, hold Australian/New Zealand citizenship or permanent residency.
• Hold a current Australian driver’s licence.
