We are looking for a Engineering FinOps Lead to the financial health, FinOps, sustainability and portfolio governance of the engineering organisation. This is an opportunity to work at the intersection of advanced technology and agricultural R&D, partnering with engineers, product leaders and scientific stakeholders on capabilities with real-world impact. What You’ll Do
• Lead and apply deep expertise in Financial analysis and modelling to deliver durable, scalable outcomes.
• Lead and apply deep expertise in FinOps and cloud economics to deliver durable, scalable outcomes.
• Lead and apply deep expertise in Cloud cost allocation and sustainability metrics to deliver durable, scalable outcomes.
• Lead and apply deep expertise in Portfolio governance and counterfactuals to deliver durable, scalable outcomes.
• Lead and apply deep expertise in Vendor governance and procurement to deliver durable, scalable outcomes.
• Lead and apply deep expertise in Engineering fluency to deliver durable, scalable outcomes.
• Collaborate across engineering, product and scientific teams to translate complex needs into practical solutions.
• Set a high bar for quality, documentation and thoughtful use of AI-assisted engineering.
What You Bring
• Demonstrable experience in Financial analysis and modelling.
• Demonstrable experience in FinOps and cloud economics.
• Demonstrable experience in Cloud cost allocation and sustainability metrics.
• Demonstrable experience in Portfolio governance and counterfactuals.
• Demonstrable experience in Vendor governance and procurement.
• Demonstrable experience in Engineering fluency.
• Demonstrable experience in Data-driven reporting and visualisation.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to influence across technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Experience building platforms, products or services used by multiple internal teams.
• Experience working in distributed, international engineering organisations.
