Job Description

**

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Engineering Executive to join our dynamic team at HINDUSTAN UNILEVER LIMITED. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in optimizing operational efficiency, ensuring asset reliability, and implementing engineering best practices across our manufacturing facilities.

Job Responsibilities**

* Lead and manage engineering projects from conception to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
* Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs to maximize equipment uptime and minimize breakdowns.
* Troubleshoot and resolve complex engineering issues, applying root cause analysis to prevent recurrence.
* Collaborate with production, quality, and safety teams to identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
* Ensure compliance with all relevant engineering standards, safety regulations, and environmental guidelines.
* Manage and mentor a team of technicians and junior engineers, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous learning.
* Evaluate and recommend new technologies and equipment to enhance manufacturing processes and product quality.
* Prepare and present technical reports, project updates, and performance analyses to senior management.
* Manage relationships with external vendors and contractors for engineering services and equipment procurement.

Job Qualifications**

* Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
* Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably within the FMCG sector.
* Proven experience in project management, maintenance planning, and operational excellence.
* Strong understanding of industrial automation, process control systems, and relevant engineering software.
* Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
* Demonstrated leadership abilities with experience in managing and developing teams.
* Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across various departments.
* Knowledge of safety regulations and quality management systems (e.g., ISO, GMP).
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
